(1988 - 1993)

1988

In 1988, I started together with my father to breed the pigeons. This year already became a succesfull year, we had the following results in the famous Holland competition WHZB:

11th, 162th, 185th. & 201th. Ace-bird of young Pigeons WHZB

16th, 75th, 195th & 199th. best of the old Pigeons WHZB

60th & 70th. Ace-bird of the old Pigeons WHZB

29th Best Breeder WHZB ( at that time 54000 breeders in Holland )

1989

This year was the best year we ever had in the carrier of me and my father, although my father already had more than 25 years experience with pigeon races. We are the first breeder in Holland who had the first and second Acebird young Pigeons WHZB. The both pigeons where a gift from my long term friend Joop v.Vliet, a very famous Meulemans breeder in Holland.

"Jopie " NL - 1379022, the first Ace of WHZB had the following excellent results :

08/07 Den Bosch : 1st. Against 4376 Pigeons

15/07 Alphen : 427th. Against 3750 Pigeons

29/07 Duffel : 4th. Against 3303 Pigeons

05/08 St Ghislain Hornu : 1st. Against 8225 Pigeons

12/08 Cambrai : 1st. Against 6599 Pigeons

19/08 St.Quentin : 21th. Against 2314 Pigeons

26/08 Den Bosch : 133th Against 2699 Pigeons

03/09 Alphen : 13th Against 5523 Pigeons

09/09 Duffel : 10th Against 1776 Pigeons

She became also the Best young Pigeon of " Duivensport Nederland ", second best young Pigeon of " De Vredesduif ".Next to it she was the winner of "Grote prijs Staf Theeuwes".

"Vlietje " NL - 1379024, the second Ace of WHZB had the following excellent results :

15/07 Alphen : 103th. Against 3750 Pigeons

22/07 Duffel : 3rd. Against 3672 Pigeons

29/07 Duffel : 7th. Against 3303 Pigeons

05/08 St.Ghislain : 7th. Against 8225 Pigeons

12/08 Cambrai : 15th. Against 6599 Pigeons

19/08 St. Quentin : 11th. Against 5789 Pigeons

He became also the 4th. Best young Pigeon of "De Vredesduif".

It was very hard for above mentioned Pigeons to become Holland best ones because they had a very hard competition against our other Pigeons. To give an example, on 05/08 St.Ghislain Hornu, we send 46 Pigeons against 8225 Pigeons:

1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 23, 25, 27, 29, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 46, 48, 49, 51, 55, 77, 115, 165, 210, 239, 241, 273, 319, 365, 484, 497, 543, 570, 878, 960, 997, 1275 & 1455.

This excellent result was mentioned in the famous holland pigeon magazine " Neerlands Postduivenorgaan " .

Next to the first two Ace young Pigeons we also had the 60th Ace young Pigeon WHZB" Het Orleansje ",

NL 89 - 6024055 win in the final national race from Orleans, the 6th.

1990

This year was again a very good year, this year not with the young but with the old Pigeons.

" De Vale " NL 88 - 2777054, he win the national Race from Etampes against 11592 Pigeons, 4 weeks later he win the 15th. national of Bourges. " De 035 ", NL 89 - 6024035, he win the 15th. national from Etampes and the 19th. national of Muenchen. Thanks those good pigeons Greupink & Son became the Champion of the one day long distance Pigeon-winner of Sector 7 and finally, the 17th national Champion of Holland WHZB

1991

"De Ruffec", NL 88 - 4038588, he win the 8th. in the national Race from Rueffec 878Km.

1993

At that time i live in Germany, but decide after my Merriage to spend 3 Month in the Netherland to help my father. The result was that we became 13th. national Champion with the young Pigeons. From this year on I was too busy with my Job and decided to stop for the moment with the wonderfull Pigeonsport.
